Pavel owns Pracovna — an event space with a café and podcast studios on Vlkova street in Prague. He hasn't been single for a few years now, but he's more than busy. Day after day, thousands of people pass through his doors — mostly from business, but also creatives, journalists, therapists, entrepreneurs and employees of large companies.
And it was right there, in the hum of café tables, between podcast recordings and after corporate events, that he kept hearing one and the same sentence: “I don't have time. And when I do, I have no one.” Capable, interesting, often beautiful people — spending their evenings home alone, because their friends' weddings are behind them, Tinder feels like extra work, and dating between meetings makes no sense.
Single & Busy is Pavel's answer to what he sees around him. It's not another dating app or timed speed dating. It's an evening when people whose lives are full meet at Pracovna and get the space, time and format to get to know each other slowly and without pressure — the way a city of a million people usually doesn't allow.
Pavel's role is to host, connect and make sure the evening makes sense — for everyone who decides to come. The programme, the atmosphere and the flow of each event are handled by a partner team that knows exactly what it's doing.

[Un:]Scripted was created by two best friends who were tired of living life through screens. They missed real conversations, honest laughter and the kind of connection that only happens when people are truly present. Instead of another app, they decided to create a space where meeting in person comes first.
Alongside their own events — candle-making, shared dinners and creative workshops they run all over Prague — they bring the hardest part of every evening to Single & Busy: the programme, the preparation and the hosting itself. A thought-through social concept that turns a workshop or a drink into more than just an activity. The workshop or shared task is only the door — what's behind it (unexpected conversations, new friendships, a sense of belonging) is the real magic.
They have over 85 events behind them, more than 1,200 connections made and 96% of participants saying they would come again. They know how to plan an evening minute by minute while letting it breathe. How to split people into groups so everyone feels in the right place. And above all — how to create an atmosphere where no one feels odd, no one pushes and no one is left standing alone at the bar.
